This week flew by. I had a very busy week with birthdays, seeing friends from NC, and last minute maid of honor duties to help my best friend who got married yesterday!

My friends and I went to the park for a run before we left for the beach to celebrate Kate’s birthday 🙂

I did three big loops around the park. When I hit the 3rd loop I wanted to stop so bad. I just hate running in circles. I was so happy when I finished.. Excited that I was done, but even more happy that I am pushing myself to new distances and feeling good during these runs!

I feel like my runs are getting stronger. I try not to focus on time, rather just finishing my runs strong, but I am starting my notice that my pace has been hovering around the 10:00 min/mile pace. My goal for November is to run a 9:15 min/mile pace in the annual turkey trot. I like that I have a goal to strive for!
