Need a new breakfast idea? Tired of the usual cereal, oatmeal or eggs? Try this protein packed breakfast made with quinoa to power you through the morning.
Makes 2 servings
1 cup cooked quinoa
1/2 cup almond milk
2 tsp maple syrup
generous amount of cinnamon
1/2 cup blueberries
2 tbsp chopped pecans
1. Cook quinoa according to packaged direction but replace water for the almond milk.
2. Stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon, blueberries and pecans.
This can be enjoyed hot or cold.
