Green Goddess Smoothie

It’s my favorite time of the month – Recipe ReDux! The theme for Recipe ReDux this month is all about beverages. The recipe I came up with was inspired after a fun girls night out. Whip up this beverage the next morning after a late night of indulging food and drinks. This is the perfect smoothie to reboot.

After an indulgent night out, bring back your inner goddess and reboot with this smoothie.


Green Goddess Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

 

Ingredients:

1 cup kale
1/2 cucumber, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 cup coconut water

Directions:

1. Simply add all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.

Not going to lie, this smoothie tastes “healthy”. If you want to make it a little sweeter, I would add some more fruit for natural sweetness. Don’t have kale? Substitute with spinach!

  1. What a great bright colour! Definitely detox-tastic 😀 I can imagine the coconut water adds that lovely bit of tropical flavour to it as well! Could have done with this myself when I got up this morning running on four hours’ sleep, haha! x
