My name is Julie, I’m currently completing my dietetic internship at College of St. Elizabeth. Next fall I will be finished with my program and studying like crazy to pass the RD exam, so I can be a Registered Dietitian and get to put the hard earned “RD” after my name.
I completed my undergrad at Johnson & Wales University earning an Associates degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Culinary Nutrition.
Along the way I have been fortunate enough to be involved in so many great opportunities that I have learned so much from. I am author of a cookbook, where I developed recipes for Shane Diet and Fitness Resorts.
I started this blog as a way to share my culinary creations with a healthy twist, along with daily musings of a soon to be dietitian. I am also a Mad Dogg certified spin instructor and an exercise enthusiasts. I’ve ran 2 half marathons, and a bunch of 5k’s. I love sports and anything active!
I wouldn’t be who I am today without all the love and support from my boyfriend, friends and family.
